Chelmsford


The City of Chelmsford is known as the birthplace of radio thanks to its connection with Guglielmo Marconi who opened the world’s first wireless factory here in 1899.

With a population in excess of 168,000 the City often brings to market a wide variety of properties for sale from a blend of listed buildings draped in history to new builds offering diverse housing to the County town, the only City in Essex and for the purpose of government statistics is placed in the East of England region.
